ICWRP Part 3: Wii vs. PS3

I haven't done this series in a LONG time...

Let's face it...the PS3 and Sony with it, have been screwing up since day 1. They haven't been able to deliver like they proclaimed when they bragged how they would, been making excuses of ANY and EVERY kind *except the price* of why the PS3 isn't selling, most of their properties like Devil May Cry 4 (rumored), GTA 4, and the next Final Fantasy are all going to the 360...and now they want to flush Xbox Live down the drain with their MySpace-like-piece-of-crap "Home".

Meanwhile, Nintendo is dealing with shortages of Wiis because the sucker is selling like a rock band's hottest album. The Wii is cheaper by a few hundred bucks, the games are fun *and yes, gimicky*, the games are easy to pick up and play, you can have a virtual self (The Miis) in the games depending on what they are, the graphics aren't that great, but nobody who plays a Wii and likes it gives a crap!

People had complained here and there when the DS and Wii first came out that it was "too gimicky" and because it wasn't based around hardcore gaming, that it wouldn't last. Funny isn't it..? Both the DS and Wii are outselling nearly all the other companies. At least Nintendo has a bright, competitive spirit to Microsoft in this 'battle', unlike the cocky Sony who wants to Nazi-fy everyone and demand that at some point in time, AND I QUOTE: "-that people will find that they don't want a Playstation 3, they will NEED IT."

Yeah. Great way to sell your product, idiots. Next time you try to release something, do what Nintendo did. It had a lot less BLOOD and MURDER and SCAMS involved.

So, this "Round 1" of the Next Gen. Console wars goes to Nintendo!

I look forward to seeing how Microsoft will combat the Wii's success...and looking forward to the PS3 flopping around out of the water like a fish with great releases few and apart from each other.
