Although the Wii (i prefer revolutions, but i've gotten over the stupid name now), is VERY fun, especially for party-esque games, i'd have to go for the 360, simply because of games like Halo 3, Lair and other muchly anticipated titles. Chrome hounds will prolly be one of the first games i'll pickup (possibly rent first, but likely just buy).

the wii is really awesome. BUT the 360 offers way more. I have both, and id i had to choose to even have only ONE, I would pick my 360. The wii just cant compare to the awesomeness of the 360 games. The wii is like the system you would play with your friends, and I only seem to play it when I have other people around. The 360 however, you can ALWAYS play. ELDER SCROLLS 4BLIVION. YOU NEED THIS GAME.

another thing, the wii isn't SUPPOSED to be compared to the 360 or the ps3. It's a completely different experience. YOU NEED A PS3 OR 360. (ps3 sucks though) haha cause it's that kind of system. Wii is less serious, silly fun. It kind of compliments your quite serious 360 or ps3. But having JUST the wii could be strange.

Get the 360 first, then the wii. Trust me dude.

360 hands down...simply for the selection of games,they already got a good variety of horror games .....Condemned+F.E.A.R., awesome action games Gears of War+Amored Core 4+Lost Planet+Dead Rising, Fight Night is fucking amazing and one of the best online games to date is also here:Battlefield 2.Btw, Red...you gotta play Oblivion on the pc....it is so much better.(if you can run it)

on another note...the Wii is lots of fun to play, but in the end it feels more like a gimmick than a hardcore gaming system...it's almost an insult to any hardcore gamers out there.And the PS3 will pick up it's pace once the good games start coming.I will be getting one for GTA4,SH5 and MGS4....I gotta have those but for now the PS3 is fuck-all.

all in all, it really seems to be that way...however,Sony has provided me with two great systems that featured dozens upon dozens of games that I have great memories playing.I just wish thier lineup would improve because what they have now is really patheti-sad...

PSP=Only good for movies..and now that I have a portable DVD player...kind of no reason to have one. PSP has next to nil great games.

PS3idn't get me excited back then, still hasn't now. Anywhere near. oooo..Motorstorm...big FUCKING deal.

However...to compare..

Nintendo DS: Ingenius. Simply a great portable system from a game company that KNOWS how to make portable games.

Nintendo Wii: I'm sorry, I care not what anyone else says about it in terms of negativity, the Wii is something brand new, literally ANYONE of any age can get into games which brings more of a gamer atmosphere about, and it's learning curve to use the Wii mote is litearlly nonexistant. At least for me it was. Sure, big deal its graphics aren't great, but who the hell cares?

Xbox/Xbox 360: Hardcore gaming; everything on any kind of game you want. I love the 360 and Microsoft. They treat me right.

Hey, hey now. I like my PSP.. if you want a list of games...I can give you a grocery list... but the movie function is a bit fruitless.I think that it is the best handheld system I had since The Sega Nomad and GBSP.

Yeah as I said.... the PS3's lineup blows now. 'Resistance: Fall of Man?' HOLY SHIT! RAISE THE GUNS! If you want a Man vs. Mutant End-of-the-World shooter, three words; Gears Of War...so now we can close the book on THAT shit until those three games drop.

DS.....DS..I had one for a while, but was unimpressed by the game lineup...I dunno, it rubbed me the wrong way.The stylus and dual screen action was interesting, but in the end it just seemed like another gimmick to me.Gameboy is where it's at, the SP model was one of my favs.

The Wii..........awesome idea, I'll give them that.When I first saw the controller, I thought "It's only a matter of time before a news story comes up where someone was strangled to death by a Wii controller." I like the idea that Nintendo went from targeting eight year old Japanese girls(GC) to making a great party machine. Unfortunatly, this does not work for everyone out there, because there are simply not enough people to go around for a Wii party.Plus, I hate people....but that's me, lol.

360-I can't argue there, I am just glad that they made the first move this time around.
